I will start writing here once I finish his story leading right up to surgery…The details will not be exact timing as it has been almost a year since our very brave day gave up his leg, not only to save his life for a little while, but to donate it to science to help the doctors find out why this happens to our beautiful babies! May be one day there will be medicine with no side effects to help slow it down and even make it go away!! xoxo
I do have to say that from day one, our boy adjusted immediately to only having 3 legs. At the hospital he did not even need the home made sling that they had to help him walk. He just started to hop along all by himself!
